The TBMotorsport R/T Engine is a road or track day engine and a direct replacement for your original unit, with upgrades available for the cylinder head, pistons and rods.
These are not just rebuilt but optimised by carefully cleaning, checking, measuring and weighing piston/rod assemblies to complete a build sheet of engine spec and history. All this attention to detail leads to a smooth and well balanced power unit, all assembled with over 30 years of race engine experience.
R/T 240 package includes, honed and measured bores to suit the low mileage Mahle pistons and new ring sets. Reground crank, King main shells, King Race big end shells and ARP rod bolts. Fully ported TBMotorsport cylinder head (exhaust ports matched to the Janspeed manifold) and a fast road cam clearance checked and fitted. All bolted together using ARP head studs and a top spec head gasket, new timing chain set and a rebuilt oil pump.
This spec of engine typically gives a reliable 240/250 bhp when used with the normal bolt on upgrades. A remap is not required but can  improve performance.
 
Other packages available to upgrade to R/T 260 include a big valve head, Woosner pistons and forged rods.
